Consumer Confidence Reaches New High

Consumer confidence in the economy has reached the highest level in seven years, according to the University of Michigan index. Its latest survey confirmed a reading of 88.8 for November, the highest since July 2007. The report also showed that consumers’ view of current conditions is at 102.7, up from October’s final reading of 98.3.
